Description

The north side of Wells Lake will be transformed into an outdoor observatory. The Arkansas Oklahoma Astronomical Society will host an evening devoted to the night sky. The moon will be nearing its New Moon phase, which will provide the perfect opportunity to view rarely seen stars, constellations, and planets. In late March Saturn will be in opposition (closest to Earth in rotation) so don't miss this great viewing opportunity.
